Assignment - 3

This assignment was a real challenge. It gives the participant a chance to have a take stock of the present state of ICT in his or her school, formulate a plan which will chart the course fo ICT integration at his/her for the coming year.
My principles are as follows:

1. Staff development is fundamental to and necessary for ICT integration at the Bequia community High school.
2. The Mind set of teachers must be changed.
3.  A new vision is needed by the teachers in order to ensure that ICT integration is successful. 
4. Proper planning is the cornerstone of any successful ICT integration.  
5. Research must be embraced by teachers first, who will then push their students to do the same.  
6. Assessment and feedback is the key to a thriving ICT integrated programme. 
7. Basic quality of education consistent with those set out curricular must adhere to by the staff.
8. The delivery of ICT integrated lessons must become the duties and responsibilities of the staff. 
9. Students will accept their roles and responsibilities as active participants in ICT integration. 
10. The school must work together with the community. 

 It is my hope that this plan will become a reality at my school.
