The wheeler article makes for good reading. It makes it easy for classroom teachers to get involved in research. I makes us see that the teacher has to be a champion in the introduction of new and exciting ways to learning.
Children at this age need to be closely monitored. While the pen-friend idea is excellent to develop cross cultural ties and language development. They need to do all this in the presence of the teacher.The Journal is fantastic however our student will be upset if they know that their privacy is compromised. It mus be told by the teacher to the students that their e-diaries will be read by the teacher.
